After the rush of the first leg of the Reid Davidson Charity Shield last weekend, Nanaimo United has refreshed, regrouped and are ready to face new expansion team, Langley United. May 10 at the Q’unq’inuq’wstuxw Stadium - you won’t want to miss it! Women start at 1 PM and the men go at 3:30 PM.

The women’s first win last weekend was a thriller and they are ready to continue plowing forward. If you haven’t seen Bronte Fitzsimmons’ goal in the 90+ minute yet, check it out here. What a game! Will we see more action like that tomorrow? Langley’s squad is currently sitting in the middle of the table with two wins, a tie and a loss under their belts.

The men are on the hunt for their first win - could this be the weekend? Last weekend against Kamloops, they dominated possession and narrowly missed their goal scoring opportunities. Check out some of the attacking highlights from last weekend here. Langley’s men, like the women, are sitting mid-table at the moment and have won two of their four games. How will the squads match up?

Wolf Brewing will once again be hosting the beer garden and our food truck selection this week includes One Cool Cookie for all your beverage and sweet treat needs, as well as the Pepper Pot - a good option if you need a solid meal to fuel your cheering. Youth up to 18 have complimentary access to both games thanks to our friends at Seaview Home and Auto Glass.

Big shout out to our lead sponsor RLR Lawyers. Did you know that they’ve been part of the League1 Nanaimo United family since day one? We can’t thank them enough for their support!

See you at the stadium tomorrow! United!
