Pre-Game Report: Homegame!

After a few weekends on the road, the Harbourside teams are ecstatic to play in front of their home crowd! Their opponent this weekend is Burnaby FC, a team they haven’t played since April. Lots has changed since April, and there’s no doubt that both teams have grown. How will they match up?

Habitat for Humanity will be at both games this weekend running a 50/50 in support of their awesome mission. Read about their mission to provide affordable homeownership here. They will be doing physical tickets with cash payments. Find them by the beer garden tomorrow.

The women are hungry for their first win. Despite their results, their positivity is infectious and they are working incredibly hard at practice. Coach Bobbie Taylor commented on the how the ladies are feeling going into tomorrow’s game:

“The team is excited to take care of business. Despite our win/loss record we have played some very good soccer. The players are staying strong and confident going into Saturday’s game.”

The men are on the hunt for a playoff position. Captain Fergus Hall says the lads are “feeling good and ready to go! We’re excited to be back at home in front of our fans and are looking to build on a promising performance away to TSS last week.” As mentioned last week, all of the men's teams sit tightly in the standings. It’s anyone’s game.
